Story notes:This story was written for the Secret Friend Challenge of the Lindir Yahoo Group. My friend, Nafaerala (Sarah) requested a pairing of Lindir and Erestor.
The Sindarin translation of "Maethor" is "Warrior" [Hisewelókë's Sindarin Dictionary]. Other Sindarin phrases and translations thanks to Orchyd Constyne. The names of the two non-canon characters are from the name generator on the "Council of Elrond" website and from "The Argonath" website. Mystery and romance, mild slash.
