See me, my Lord,
Hear my prayer.
For thousands of years
My heart has been cold.
Then, in the forest,
Where birds never sing
A dwarf Prince I met.
In the darkness of Mirkwood
I gave him my heart, my body, and soul.

Grant mercy, my Lord
For the dwarf whom I love
He is brave, he is gentle, lethal, and tender.
He fought for a future,
For days without darkness,
A new age where evil
No longer exists.

Let him live, my Lord,
For yours is the power
To create and give life.
He is my sun, my moon and my stars.
With him by my side
I shall lead my army.
The Mirkwood elves
Shall fight against Sauron.

See me, my Lord,
I love this dwarf.
Do not take him to a place
Where I can not follow.
Let me be there for him
For hundreds of years.
Then I shall fade.
Hear my plea, almighty Lord.
