WHAT ARE THESE CHALLENGES?

They are little periodic challenges to write fanfic stories centered in the Tolkien universe and with focus on slash to stimulate our writers and readers and provide a nice bit of fun for everybody.

I HEAR THEY ARE ANONYMOUS...

To make sure that we are not awarding the authors' popularity instead of the worth of the stories, these challenges are anonymous. You send us your story with the complete information as usual, but the stories will be posted without your name, email and beta during the voting season. Don't worry! As soon as the results are out we will add back the information to the headers so that your work is properly acknowledged.

THE CURRENT CHALLENGE

PAST CHALLENGES AND A TEENSY-WEENSY BIT OF HISTORY

• Archivists' Challenges: These challenges were issued by our founder, Marie, and were not yet anonymous. The stories were evaluated by a small juri composed by Marie, Meredith and Elena.
• Library of Moria Board Challenges: When the LoM went on hiatus, Azzy and Aeneus came up with the these challenges to keep the slashy goodness flowing. The anonymity was introduced here.
• Library of Moria Challenges: Since the archive is running smoothly again and we would like to have challenges that are widely open to all, we have started a new series of challenges, under a broader name.
