This was wrenching and brutal but startingly realistic. The Ring alights a desire for power and control and what is rape, after all, but a very personal act of bodily control.
Also, this could have easily turned into one of those wretched stories glorifying the act but you transcended that impresivly. You depcited this as it was, violence that happened to embody sexual intercourse.
