Many handkerchieves have been spent on this and yet it´s one of the most beautiful fics I´ve ever read.
To me it absolutely hits the special tone of Faramir´s voice, calm and composed and though of a profound tired sadness. So much in character I could perfectly see these thoughts filling the gap between the time they leave the city and the moment of their doomed attack.
Many handkerchieves have been spent on this and yet it´s one of the most beautiful fics I´ve ever read.
