OK - I have to ask...what route do you have the Rivendell travelers using that would take them to Lothlorien BEFORE Mirkwood?  By the map, they would have to travel through the Gap of Rohan!  The canon routes are either the northern Pass (mostly) or the Redhorn Gate.  Both of these would lead any Mirkwood-bound travellers to,well, Mirkwood.  Lothlorien would be an additional considerable journey south.

I am not usually this picky, but there is so much inter-kingdom travel going on that it is getting on my nerves.
