This is one of my all time favourites.
I found it somewhere else years ago, probably doesn't exist anymore. I printed it though and it's still in my bedside table.
It's always a pleasure to read.
Beautifully worded, intriguing idea, lovely couple.
I wish you would consider publishing it on other archives too. I fear for your wonderful tale to get lost someday.

Why the hell is their so little response to this story?
In my opinion it is absolutely beautiful.
You chose such fitting and wonderful words to express the feelings of the characters and you treated them so well as characters. They were so multidimensional, so authentic, I believed every single sentense they uttered. I've often read stories in which the characters were really a little ... out of character, but here I really read something about Frodo and Sam and that'll certainly makethe story stay in my mind.
I could not help but read on and on.
It was really capturing.
I really consider this Fanfiction on a high level considering language and narrative technique.
