Ch 27 you refer to Mordor as Moria. Easy to confuse, yes, but very different places. :]
I pretty much love this story. I noticed a few issues with quotation marks early on, but they seem to have fixed themselves by chapter ten or so. I love Legolas and Gimli together. In fact they are without a doubt my Tolkein OTP. I also like that there is a something resembling a plot, and it's not all fluffy romance.
I also love that they have problems, that it's not all perfect all the time. It's a very believable relationship.
