Summary: If you recall in the movie, Aragorn speaks to Haldir as one he has met before. After the initial meeting, Aragorn is saddened because it seems Haldir has completely forgotten his past lover. What can Haldir do to convince Aragorn he still loves him? Extra points for making Haldir do silly things like cut off a piece of Legolas' hair, bring flowers, or write horrible poetry just to prove he loves Aragorn.

Summary: I would like to see an AU in which Haldir, Legolas, Aragorn, Boromir and Faramir are a team of assassins working as male models by day. Can be set in any major city world wide, or a made up city, or a Modern Middle Earth. The only required pairing will be Haldir and Faramir. The rest can be up to the writer. At least one character must die, and major bonus points if it's not Boromir. Also bonuses if Arwen get toppled into a dumpster filled with liposuctioned fat. I'd like to impose an R rating or higher.

Summary: This is basically Morgana's and Tinivelle's fics--Bonds of Honor and A Mortal Love - turned on its ear. In both of those stories, it seemed as if Haldir had become mortal because of the bonding with Éomer. So... *evil giggle* Turn that around. Have Éomer become as a Elf, his fate like Tuor - we never did find out how exactly Tuor was *sundered* from men, did we? That healing bond - it was banned from usage with mortals because of the danger of Tuor's fate. Suppose no one ever told Aragorn, and Legolas had no idea because, 'Damnit, I'm a *warrior*, not a fucking healer!' Take that one step further. Éomer forbids Aragorn from telling Haldir, unaware of the effect on himself - you can pick the reason, but the most likely one is that the Rohan might not like the idea of their king bonding with a Elf. Ok, so the foresaid Elf saved their asses. Still... Haldir doesn't know what happened, either, because he was out cold. He thinks Aragorn healed him without resulting to the bond. What I'd love to see is the chaos that occurs once Elrond, or Celeborn, or some Elf finds out what Aragorn and Éomer did. *How* they discover this is part of the fun! Remember, poor Éomer comes from a culture that didn't have Numenoreans or Elves running around in their lineage, so this could be very difficult for him to accept. This has the potential to be a good H/C/H/C fanfiction.

Summary: A demon has been lying dormant within Glorfindel's subconscious since his return from Mandos. After a night of pleasure, the demon awakens. What happens after that is up to the author. Preferably in the R rating, mayhap some NC-17 between the two elves. A lot of angst and hurt/comfort.

Summary: Without a word Haldir makes his check on the north border as every day when he finds an unconscious, young, male Elf. He decides to take the Elf home with him and not to a doctor, because he (the elf) doesn't seem to be wounded. But when he wants to wash the blond (who lay in the mud on the ground), he finds out that the young one has been raped and is (logically) fading. But even before the Elf wakes up Haldir has a dream and comes to know that his new charge is the Prince of Mirkwood - Legolas, the youngest child of King Thranduil. But Legolas refuses to speak (a single word) and Haldir has a bad feeling to send him home. So he keeps Legolas a secret and only his brothers, Orophin (married, two children) and Rúmil (has a new lover every month), know about the Prince. Everything is 'fine' (Legolas is not fading, he builds a relationship with Haldir and seems quite happy) until Galadriel, who saw the happenings in her mirror, tells Haldir that Thranduil wants his heir back (Legolas elder brother died trough an Orc-attack) and the King obviously knows where Legolas is. On the other side: Thranduil knows that Legolas was raped by HIS OWN INSANE BROTHER and wanted to keep the family name upright. So he brought Legolas to Lothlorien and watched Haldir when he took Legolas with him. But after his heir's death he regrets his actions and wants his son back. The Problem: Legolas refuses to speak - even when Haldir moves to Mirkwood and Thranduil gives his son a warm welcome... (Thranduil is a caring, but a bit old-fashioned father in this story, he accepts Haldir as his son's lover though) After a while Legolas (as a Sindarin Elf of the Royal family possible) gets pregnant and marries Haldir. When they say their vows in the ceremony Legolas starts to speak again (a little at the beginning) and when his beautiful son (Elarion of Mirkwood) is born he is mentally completely healed and ... you know: a sweet, fluffy happy-end!!!

Summary: Legolas/Haldir (main) and possibly Legolas/Aragorn near the end... In most fics I've read, everyone is falling all over themselves to get with Legolas, but what if that wasn't the case?? This is written from Legolas' POV and starts in Lothlórien, right after escaping Moria. I always wondered what happened after that one scene in the movie; you know, the one where the elves are singing the lament for Gandalf and everyone is making camp? Legolas crosses the scene carrying a pitcher (and looking sexy in that silver tunic)... where is he going? To get water? To take a bath? Hmm? Well, what came to mind for me is just that -- a bath in the river/lake/stream/whatever body of water is there. Once he's away from everyone, he can finally let down his mask. (Very angsty, this one's gonna be). He tries to meditate there on the riverbank, calm down a little and let go of his grief, but he just can't. He's overwhelmed by everything and begins to cry (::sniffle:: Poor Legolas!) Haldir, who is nearby, hears him and comes to see what's going on. Now, he secretly has feelings for Legolas and normally wouldn't admit/show it, but when he finds him in such a state, he's overcome and offers to comfort him... Haldir draws him into a gentle embrace (just holding him) and Legolas pours out his heart to him: He had feelings for Aragorn, who turned him down, supposedly because of Arwen, but really because he wanted to be with Boromir. Boromir wouldn't have him because he'd not been with a man before, let alone an elf, and was too busy trying to figure out his feelings for Aragorn. Frodo, Sam, Merry and Pippin all had each other, not that he was attracted to them, but just the fact that he was so alone and they had each other. And Gimli and Gandalf? Well, they're just them... he didn't have any kind of feeling for either of them (besides just friends). Being rejected and then Gandalf's fall at Moria --all the feelings of loss have really taken their toll on him. They say elves can only die of a broken heart...and Legolas is on his way. Haldir feels terrible for him and his feelings are really getting strong now... Legolas feels only marginally better after letting it all out and pulls away, saying it's time he got cleaned up and got some rest. Haldir offers to 'assist' and... yeah... (As Chef would say, 'Gonna make love to ya woman, gonna lay you down by the fire...' -- Except there is no woman, and they're gonna make love in the river...and on the riverbank...and...) Anyway ^_^ Legolas feels much better in the morning, but isn't in any hurry to leave Lothlórien. But they do eventually of course and etc., etc. Skip forward to Boromir's death and an angsty Aragorn. Skip some more to the beginning of Two Towers where it's just the three of them tracking the Uruk-hai. Beginnings of some sexual tension between Legolas/Aragorn... which doesn't go anywhere at that time, 'cause Aragorn is still sad about Boromir and Legolas remembers being rejected and feels like he'd be cheating on Haldir. Skip forward some more to the battle at Helm's Deep and the arrival of Haldir and the elves. Haldir and Legolas are happy to be together again and Aragorn is marginally jealous of them. (Bonus points if there's a chance for a Legolas/Haldir quickie before all the bad stuff happens!). Skip a little more and into the battle when Haldir falls (::sob:: Of the elves they had to spare and they had to kill him?! Oh, why?!) Some more angsty Aragorn there, especially when he decides not to tell Legolas right away... skip forward to after the battle; they are all helping to clean up, bury people and stuff. Legolas finds Haldir's body and just loses it --now he really is all alone. He's so distraught he thinks of just ending it all right there, but Aragorn comes and stops him just in time. Or maybe he doesn't... hmm? A happy ending or a sad one? That's your choice ^_^ Requirements: Only a few... no rape. Normally I'd say just take it and run with it, but in this case please really try hard to stick close to the way it's laid out above. Of course you can add stuff in, but don't go too far off course! ^_^ Oh, and you have to use the phrase 'to be so alone' in there somewhere! Actually I think that would make a great title! ^_^

Summary: It would be a Pre-LOTR story; will have Haldir/Thranduil, and M-Preg (Perhaps not explicitly, but at least mentioned or implied). Legolas is relatively young by elven standards, probably a few good years away from majority. But for training as a warrior and or prince and or ambassador (Up to the writer to decide) he is sent to Lothlorien. While there, he forms a friendship with Haldir, and comes to look upon the older elf as a mentor of sorts. It would be interesting to have the story written from Haldir's Point of view, but not nessecary. As it will be revealed that Legolas is the lovechild produced from Haldir and Thranduils affair. When first meeting Legolas, Haldir will know it is Thranduil's child from resemblance, but will not know Legolas is his child as well until he finally breaks the long silence between him and his old love. After learning this, he will keep the knowledge to himself for a while as he comes to terms that the young elf is his son (Shocking experience, you know. The revelation to Legolas about his parentage will upset him, and angst ensues, as well as a rekindling of Thranduil and Haldir's love as they are both required in one place to fight for thier son's understanding. Serious fic, good Thranduil, Happy Ending. Other twists and turns optional to the author, this is just a platform to build from.

Summary: Write a piece based on the song Show Me Love, by T.a.T.u. You can interpret that however you want...must be a pairing of any of these characters: Elrohir, Haldir, Legolas, Elladan, Glorfindel, Elrond, or Erestor. If you want to do it as a femslash fic as implied by the song, use Éowyn/Galadriel. It should include a reference to the chorus, however you want to do that, as well as some reference the line, 'Like a game of pick-up sticks/Played by f***ing lunatics.' Have fun.
