Summary: I saw someone challenge for a Erestor/Legolas fic and that made me really happy, so I decided to help. Romance between Legolas/ Erestor. Set in Imladris with Elrond, Glorfindel, the Twins and whoever else you wish helping Legolas to make his dream *cough* come true. If it's a long time hidden love or a love at first sight, it's up to you. Extra points if it's a Legolas POV or at least centered on his feelings as I'm a little tired of those 'Legolas you are the sunlight and without your beauty the world would stop' kind of fanfics. So for once I want Legolas adoring our beautiful dark haired counselor.

Summary: Legolas/Haldir (main) and possibly Legolas/Aragorn near the end... In most fics I've read, everyone is falling all over themselves to get with Legolas, but what if that wasn't the case?? This is written from Legolas' POV and starts in Lothlórien, right after escaping Moria. I always wondered what happened after that one scene in the movie; you know, the one where the elves are singing the lament for Gandalf and everyone is making camp? Legolas crosses the scene carrying a pitcher (and looking sexy in that silver tunic)... where is he going? To get water? To take a bath? Hmm? Well, what came to mind for me is just that -- a bath in the river/lake/stream/whatever body of water is there. Once he's away from everyone, he can finally let down his mask. (Very angsty, this one's gonna be). He tries to meditate there on the riverbank, calm down a little and let go of his grief, but he just can't. He's overwhelmed by everything and begins to cry (::sniffle:: Poor Legolas!) Haldir, who is nearby, hears him and comes to see what's going on. Now, he secretly has feelings for Legolas and normally wouldn't admit/show it, but when he finds him in such a state, he's overcome and offers to comfort him... Haldir draws him into a gentle embrace (just holding him) and Legolas pours out his heart to him: He had feelings for Aragorn, who turned him down, supposedly because of Arwen, but really because he wanted to be with Boromir. Boromir wouldn't have him because he'd not been with a man before, let alone an elf, and was too busy trying to figure out his feelings for Aragorn. Frodo, Sam, Merry and Pippin all had each other, not that he was attracted to them, but just the fact that he was so alone and they had each other. And Gimli and Gandalf? Well, they're just them... he didn't have any kind of feeling for either of them (besides just friends). Being rejected and then Gandalf's fall at Moria --all the feelings of loss have really taken their toll on him. They say elves can only die of a broken heart...and Legolas is on his way. Haldir feels terrible for him and his feelings are really getting strong now... Legolas feels only marginally better after letting it all out and pulls away, saying it's time he got cleaned up and got some rest. Haldir offers to 'assist' and... yeah... (As Chef would say, 'Gonna make love to ya woman, gonna lay you down by the fire...' -- Except there is no woman, and they're gonna make love in the river...and on the riverbank...and...) Anyway ^_^ Legolas feels much better in the morning, but isn't in any hurry to leave Lothlórien. But they do eventually of course and etc., etc. Skip forward to Boromir's death and an angsty Aragorn. Skip some more to the beginning of Two Towers where it's just the three of them tracking the Uruk-hai. Beginnings of some sexual tension between Legolas/Aragorn... which doesn't go anywhere at that time, 'cause Aragorn is still sad about Boromir and Legolas remembers being rejected and feels like he'd be cheating on Haldir. Skip forward some more to the battle at Helm's Deep and the arrival of Haldir and the elves. Haldir and Legolas are happy to be together again and Aragorn is marginally jealous of them. (Bonus points if there's a chance for a Legolas/Haldir quickie before all the bad stuff happens!). Skip a little more and into the battle when Haldir falls (::sob:: Of the elves they had to spare and they had to kill him?! Oh, why?!) Some more angsty Aragorn there, especially when he decides not to tell Legolas right away... skip forward to after the battle; they are all helping to clean up, bury people and stuff. Legolas finds Haldir's body and just loses it --now he really is all alone. He's so distraught he thinks of just ending it all right there, but Aragorn comes and stops him just in time. Or maybe he doesn't... hmm? A happy ending or a sad one? That's your choice ^_^ Requirements: Only a few... no rape. Normally I'd say just take it and run with it, but in this case please really try hard to stick close to the way it's laid out above. Of course you can add stuff in, but don't go too far off course! ^_^ Oh, and you have to use the phrase 'to be so alone' in there somewhere! Actually I think that would make a great title! ^_^

Turns out Legolas and Pippin are both gay. Guess what happens next. All this happens while Legolas is in a hobbit induced stupor. Next morning he remembers nothing. Pippin thinks he regrets it. Legolas finally remembers but thinks Pippin regrets it. Eventually, they are set up by the rest of the Fellowship. Yay. Galadriel insists they get married! ha

Summary: An unsuspecting young actor finds himself in Middle-earth and meets up with a certain elven archer. Yes, that's right: Orlando Bloom meets Legolas. The two *must* be separate people, separate minds, separate thoughts - with no acknowledgement that one plays the other in real life. They do not recognize or acknowledge a resemblance between them: they are entirely different people. (Orlando would be an AU Orlando who had not acted in 'LotR,' though little inside jokes to the readers are just fine.) Just a lovely, slashy little story of modern man Orlando and immortal Elf Legolas. NC-17, please and 'in character' as much as slash allows. Orlando himself should prove to be an example of that adage 'there are no straight men, only men who haven't met Legolas.' Must-haves: a primarily dominant Legolas, preceded by a sexy bit of grappling for that dominance; a journey or hunt that puts them out in the wilds alone together; Legolas teaching Orlando fighting skills; passionate bewilderment as to how to open clothes from a different time period. Bonus points for a serious fic and extra special bonus points for the avoidance of narcissism (i.e. no acknowledgement that both are gorgeous and similar in appearance), either direct or implied.

Summary: Since Gandalf/Legolas is done, it's time for a Saruman/Legolas, but not a rape or violent story. A romance! Legolas travels to Rivendell with his father, who is a member of the first council that takes place there. Legolas meets Saruman there and he falls in love with him (after all, he was good before the treason). They join together, but at the end Saruman succumbs to the calling of the Ring and betrays Legolas, who is left heart-broken. When the Fellowship arrives in Isengard, Saruman lets Legolas into the castle and has sex with him, while the others wait in front of the door and threaten to come in. Graphic or not, it's up to you!
