Summary: An Aragorn/Faramir pairing with tons of Angst, sexual tension, and a touch of violence (Must be between the two, no rape and no character death.) It must take place after the War of the Ring and it can be AU, but this is not encouraged. It can't be G or NC-17 (so that means PG-R...duh)...Who's up for the challenge?

Summary: I would like to see an AU in which Haldir, Legolas, Aragorn, Boromir and Faramir are a team of assassins working as male models by day. Can be set in any major city world wide, or a made up city, or a Modern Middle Earth. The only required pairing will be Haldir and Faramir. The rest can be up to the writer. At least one character must die, and major bonus points if it's not Boromir. Also bonuses if Arwen get toppled into a dumpster filled with liposuctioned fat. I'd like to impose an R rating or higher.

Summary: There are several Boromir/Faramir stories where Boromir is the experienced one and Faramir is the innocent one (understandably, given their ages). The challenge is... A story where Boromir is the innocent one and Faramir has to 'show him the ropes' so to speak. The rest is up to the writer but. Any rating, but preferably R or NC-17.

Summary: I want a Boromir/Faramir story, without all the angst and trouble of forbidden love as the bad Steward's sons (although I really love those stories). Well, that's what AUs are for... and this one will sound incredibly familiar... So... when Boromir is 11 years-old, and his younger brother is 7, they go on a trip with the Steward and his wife, in a beautiful ship. But a terrible accident happens, and the poor boys are saved by their mother's efforts and they manage to get to a desert island. There, isolated from the rest of the world, their mother builds them a sort-of house, and teaches them a lot of things to survive. But, alas! she falls sick and dies, but before that she makes her older son promise he would love and take care of his brother forever, because theirs is the most important bond of all. What I want is the story of their relationship and how it turns deeper without the influence of morals, rules and stuff like that. The outcome is up to the author, maybe they can be rescued by their evil father at some point (but many years after). And no, it doesn't have to have a blue lagoon... and no one has to get pregnant. :P Well, I don't know exactly if this is a plot bunny or more like a challenge... so I leave it up to you to decide.

Summary: In LOTR: ROTK, if i recall correctly, Faramir was wounded in one of the last battles in the movie (not sure exactly if it was on the Pelennor fields), and was dragged back to Minas Tirith by his horse. forgive me, but i only saw the third film once, so i may be a bit off on a few details. anyway, after he is dragged back, Pippin and Gandalf both notice he needs medical attention, but Denethor simply will not hear of it, and assumes his son dead, and decides to burn him AND himself alive! Pippin follows them to where they will burn Faramir, and notices a change in his breathing, showing that he is indeed alive. he runs to Gandalf and they both charge into the room, stop Denethor, and eventually Faramir is healed by Gandalf (or is it Aragorn..think it is the latter), etc. here is the challenge: from the moment Faramir began fighting with his troops on the battlefield, and when he was wounded, what do you think was going through his mind..fear, a desire to prove himself to his father one last time? or was he in desperation, or a combination of emtions, that he would die and finally be reunited with his soulmate, his brother Boromir? that would be my guess..:) also, what was going through Faramir's mind as he was dragged back to Minas Tirith (or maybe he was unconscious and woke partially in the burning chamber), and when he finally started to come to as Denethor covered him in oil and prepared to burn him? to me, Faramir looked like he was definitely in some amount of pain, just beginning to become fully aware of it, and also he looked deep in thought, close to tears. this is the challenge i propose for your group, and i believe it would be a formidable one to see online. i am not much of a writer myself, but i do know great works when i see them. good luck to you all, and keep up the fabulous work! :)

Summary: Slash, taking place after RotK. The first step, of course, is choosing the 'Other' -choices include Éomer, Legolas, a random elf, or a random man of Gondor. No Aragorn, no Elrond, no Gimli, no hobbits, no men from Rohan besides Éomer, just because. I want this to be a story where homosexuality is NOT widely accepted in Middle-Earth, but, rather, unheard of - actually unheard of, as in no one realizes it's POSSIBLE for a man to love another man. Please include no other slash pairings, but as many other hetero pairings as you'd like. The story should include many scenes of rising tension between the two, including at least one indoors, one - but preferably more - outdoors, one where the two are alone together, and one where they are in a crowd. I like imagery, hint hint. Both men should be confused about their feelings, and the writing should include some musings on these feelings. Eventually ONE should act on said feelings - they may use the influence of wine or simply their own stunning sexiness. The event can be planned or unplanned by the ready one. The other should not be prepared at this point, and the unprepared one would preferably be Faramir. At this point, said unprepared one can either run or retaliate, in anger or love. Later, BOTH should be confused about what happened. Eventually, one - preferably not Faramir - tells someone about what they feel, but whether they tell the reaction of the other is up to you. If you have chosen Éomer, he should tell one of the men of Rohan. Said man of Rohan should not approve, but keep his trap shut, because he knows what's good for him. ^_^ Legolas, he should tell Gimli. Gimli may or may not approve but, out of respect to his friend, should not say a thing. A random elf, he should tell another random elf. You decide about their reaction, but, again, they should not say anything... yet. A random man of Gondor, he should tell anyone. You can choose! Preferably not Éowyn, though, as that would spoil the fun. However, whomever it is that he tells can react in ANY WAY, including telling someone - maybe because they're worried for their friend. Or, perhaps, they won't tell, because they think this person has gone insane and would rather not deal with it. Or maybe they're mute and can't. ^_^ Whatever you want! At this point, it's pretty much up to you. Eventually someone -probably Éowyn - important should find out by some means, and should react majorly. I shall say no more beyond this. Overall, make it a sweet, romantic thing, maybe with a bit of humor, but not too much so as to make it an all-our humor fic. Add some adventure of some sort if you'd like, or angst in Faramir's constant musings of his betrayal of Éowyn. I've said enough now, that's the end of this plot bunny!

Summary: Set in Minas Tirith before the Ring quest, but not before the War. Characters - Faramir, Boromir, Denethor, Beregond, random men/soldiers of Gondor, Imrahil, possibly Gandalf. Basic theme: Faramir wants his father's love, and Denethor takes advantage of this by using Faramir as his whore (oh, and Denethor also uses most of the maids, and boys, as his whores-loves to sleep around, get some wherever and whenever he can... just a little sub-plot/detail you can throw in, part of the character building...) Before this begins, and probably during it, Faramir is in relationships with Beregond, Boromir, and other random men of Gondor. Basically, all good friends who like to sleep around, mainly with each other. So pair them all as you wish. Main plotline: Gondor in negotiations with Harad to try and end the war, although they're still fighting at the time. So there's a lot of Harad soldiers in Minas Tirith. The captain takes a fancy to Faramir, perhaps even tries to rape him... then gets a beating from Boromir :D. There'll be a bit of fighting, etc. perhaps Faramir gets wounded... Along the way, Faramir messes up, perhaps in battle, as well as becoming Gandalf's pupil. Well, one way or another, Denethor kicks Faramir out of the palace. Faramir goes and lives with friends in a house on the third level of the city (the main area for the whores to gather), and becomes a prostitute. But I'm sure later on he gets called back up to the palace, perhaps by Boromir. That's about all the details I know. The rest is to be added by the writer at their leisure. Make it NC-17, stick in the slashy pairings. Graphic but tasteful, though. And full of great storylines and angst, especially between Faramir and Denethor. So there's the basics... I know, I'm not the best summary writer, but I had to make sure the little details were included. I want to make sure the characters are written as they should be, i.e. how I've had them playing out in my head for months. Rearrange it as you wish, or whatever you do with lengthy summaries. Oh, and this may or may not be allowed... but I'd like more than one version of this story to be written, if more than one person is willing to write it.)
