Summary: Throughout the years, on and off, Legolas has visited Rivendell for differing reasons, perhaps friendship with Elladan and/or Elrohir? During these times Elrond has come to appreciate the Prince of Mirkwood and Legolas the likewise, but neither have ever thought it proper to make these feelings known. For whatever reason you decide, either Elrond or Legolas begins/began turning to the darkness, perhaps even communing with Sauron and the tension between the two can no longer be ignored. The dark one will have what he desires, by force if necessary (preferably). Afterwards the one who is taken wishes to keep quiet, in shock and uncertain. Can things ever be set right between them? The closer to being in-character, the better. Bonus points if someone finds out or is taken into confidence, perhaps one of the twins or Aragorn or Gandalf. More bonus points if it takes place during FOTR before they leave for Mordor.

Summary: The old standard plot of 'Legolas goes to Rivendell for some reason and falls in love with Elrond/Elladan/Elrohir', but this time CelebrÃan hasn't yet sailed west and she's a major character. If L/Elrond, Elrond must be honestly *in love* with CelebrÃan (it's not just a political marriage, or a marriage of convenience, or because she got pregnant), and he's confused by his feelings for someone else. Eventual L/E/C is okay, if you swing that direction. If you don't, then do something else. I'm easy to please. If L/one of the twins, Legolas' mother must have died when he was an infant and he is ecstatic at the prospect of having a mother-figure in his life. Or intimidated if you prefer, or confused, or manic-depressive because he's so very happy to have CelebrÃan around but he doesn't want to dishonor his own biological mother. Whatever, so long as it's interesting, except NOT SULLEN/ANGRY. DO NOT write that all of their interactions resemble 'You can't tell me what to do! You're not my real mom!' Any rating, but preferably on the long side. At least long enough to explore the situation. Bonus points if CelebrÃan is a brave warrior (fought in the Last Alliance maybe?), and not the delicate little elf maiden so many of us are accustomed to and frankly a little tired of. Extra special bonus points if she's a member of the White Council and/or if she teaches Legolas archery. Also optional: showing their reactions when she does eventually sail west.

Summary: Stick them into future. Must be beyond 2003 in Earth. The world has been divided into two. America is ruled by Sauron/other evil character and the rest of the world is divided between different races: Hobbits in Africa, Men in Europe and Oceania, Dwarves and Elves in Asia. The Fellowship and others have been reborn, not YET aware of it. Éomer is a trench coat wearing, beer drinking, gun slinging and multilingual bastard, who does not believe in love and thinks that it is a 'bucket load of bullshit'. He always works alone and does mercenary work. Lives mostly in America, under Sauron's rule and pretends to be evil. As he is somehow part of the prophecy, Elrond, Galadriel and Gandalf, who are aware of their rebirth, gather the Fellowship and send them off to America to find Éomer, make him work for the good side and kill Sauron. All of the Fellowship are good in fighting, especially both Aragorn and Boromir. Arwen, who is Aragorn's self-proclaimed girlfriend, joins the group and does not let them ditch her. They somehow need to get to America without getting anybody killed off and then find Éomer. The rest of the story may go as you please, but it must have those pairings: Éomer/Boromir (latter making the former understand that love exists and not breaking them up), Frodo/Sam, Elrond/Legolas and Aragorn/somebody. NC-17 is preferred and not something below R. Like both good and bad endings.
