That was excellent. Full of character and growth and love and beauty. And Boromir lived and I love how he gets all soft and less angry with the hobbits/Pip.

I can't say I've ever actually been eager to review a story before until I came across this one. My first impression with the summary was Legolas and Gimli argue a little more than usual (I also had some mmore smutter impressino but those were quickly snuffed out since that wasn't listed in the pairing section). Nope, instead, I get 70 000 words of epic 'what if' awesomeness. :D Fantastic story! The bestest part is the fact it was romantic but not to the point of mushiness. Very well done!
