Summary: Has anyone else noticed that there's a tragic lack of good Legolas/Erestor fics? *sighs dramatically* I have no specific plot in mind, save for the following:
1. Angst (no story is complete without it, but you can choose here - rape? abuse? injury? death? Up to you.)
2. NC-17 rating (self-explanatory)
3. Some sort of definite storyline....not just PWP, although some of that is good (refer to #2)

Summary: I saw someone challenge for a Erestor/Legolas fic and that made me really happy, so I decided to help. Romance between Legolas/ Erestor. Set in Imladris with Elrond, Glorfindel, the Twins and whoever else you wish helping Legolas to make his dream *cough* come true. If it's a long time hidden love or a love at first sight, it's up to you. Extra points if it's a Legolas POV or at least centered on his feelings as I'm a little tired of those 'Legolas you are the sunlight and without your beauty the world would stop' kind of fanfics. So for once I want Legolas adoring our beautiful dark haired counselor.

Summary: Set some time before FotR, Legolas is a relatively young elf. Elrond has been trying to sort out some political matters between the realms of Imladris and Mirkwood, but his messengers are always sent away; so he decides to send Erestor with a small delegation of Imladris soldiers. Thranduil feels he can't send away someone of Erestor's rank, so invites him to stay at the palace; and Erestor ends up staying quite a while as Thranduil continues being obstinate. He is frustrated by Thranduil, and detests the company of the King's two eldest sons (uncivilized and quite malevolent; for elves) but one day the King's youngest son (Legolas) returns from fighting at Mirkwood's borders. Erestor sees his beauty, but is not drawn to him as Erestor is a resolved intellectual and isn't swayed just by physical desire; so he mostly ignores Legolas, thinking him to be like his brothers. One day though, Erestor overhears an argument involving Legolas that makes him realize that Legolas is very different from the rest of his family. So Erestor tries to get nearer to Legolas, but Legolas holds back, and Erestor starts to see signs of how being so unique within his family has affected Legolas. Rating, any other pairings, warnings all up to the author.
